This Locked On Pistons hit looks at how Ausar Thompson’s offensive development and John Collins’ addition could help Detroit take the next step. Thompson has already established himself as a defensive force, but improving his three-point shooting and offensive consistency could make him an even bigger difference-maker. Meanwhile, Collins brings athleticism, perimeter shooting and finishing ability that could complement Jalen Duren in the front court. If these pieces can mesh with Cade Cunningham, the Pistons could have another level to their offense and become a tougher matchup this season. Photo Credit: IMAGN IMAGES via Reuters Connect
